It takes a lot of hard work and passion to be successful. I remember when I started this travel planning business two and half years ago, I thought it would be easy to get people to book their Disney destination vacations through me. I mean, my services do not cost you anything extra so if you are planning to go, why would you not just book through me? I quickly learned that a quote does not always equal a booking, and just because you may know me personally, does not mean I am entitled to your business. I have to earn that business from you. It is my fault if you do not book with me because somehow, I have missed what you are needing. Don't get me wrong, I know sometimes other circumstances lead to people not being able to travel but for the ones who decide to book on their own or through another party, I take responsibility for not meeting your needs. Maybe I got your budget wrong, chose the wrong resort for your family's needs, or somehow just didn't gain your confidence in my ability to make your vacation everything you want it to be. Either way, it is my fault and I want to do better! I want you to choose me every time! It is my job to show you what a valuable resource I am and to ensure you that your travel plans will go off without a hitch. I want you to know that I am an advocate for your vacation and want it to perfectly fit you!
I would like to review just a few of the ways of how I can benefit your vacation and even help you add more value to a vacation that you are paying a lot of money for. I mean, let's be honest, these vacations can be pricey and you don't want to feel like you have wasted one penny of it. While at training at the beginning of March, I overheard a guest that was standing in line to see Tinker Bell say " We have been here four hours and have not done a thing because the lines have all been too long." In my mind I was thinking how can you possibly have not rode one thing in four hours. I had been there all morning too and managed to have breakfast, meet some characters, and go on three rides. We were at the same park and experiencing the same crowds. How could have I done so much more than her? I continued to hear her say things like "we spent over a $1000 to be here today and have done nothing." That is very sad to me. I really felt for her, and the agent I was with even asked her if she had used a travel planner. Her answer was "no". We gave her a few tips before we left and even clued her in on the fact that her tickets come with three Fast Passes per person so her group at the very least should be able to ride three rides. This was something she did not realize. She thought you had to purchase Fast Passes. She's not the only one that thinks that! Why am I telling you this story? Because, even if you don't ever book with me, I want you to know that your tickets come with three Fast Passes per paying individual and you can at the very least experience three rides while at the park you are visiting. I can with 100% certainty tell you that anyone who has ever booked their Disney vacation with me will be standing in less lines, see and experience more attractions, and overall add more value to their vacation. Let's review what I do!
