The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) developed the Characteristics of Doctoral Programs. In order to remain in compliance, the THECB requires each doctoral (research and professional) program at public universities and health-related institutions to provide a centralized web page listing all of their doctoral programs and links to their characteristics data.
